Doubtful about leading Ganjar-Mahfud TPD in South Sulawesi, Dr. Udin, Danny Pomanto’s son-in-law says this

FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — Dr. Udin Malik’s name has emerged as Chair of the Ganjar-Mahfud Regional Winning Team (TPD) in South Sulawesi (Sulsel). After Makassar Mayor Danny Pomanto announced his resignation.

However, Danny’s son-in-law’s capacity is in doubt. The reason is, he is relatively new to the world of politics.

Dr. Udin did not deny this assumption. But he avoided it. According to him, he has been involved in politics in everyday life for a long time.

“If you’re new to politics, practical politics is new, but life politics has been around for a long time, sir,” said Dr. Udin when met at the South Sulawesi Ganjar-Mahfud TPD Office on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Makassar, Thursday (2/11/2023).

Regarding readiness, he admitted that he had been preparing himself all this time. Try to be professional according to the task at hand.

“When it comes to preparation, I keep preparing myself. My (preparation) to face life’s challenges and obstacles. “So as much as possible, as professional as possible, whatever my duties are at TPD, God willing, we will uphold them with high professionalism,” he said.

In South Sulawesi, TPN Ganjar-Mahfud is targeting victory. However, Dr. Udin said it was not a serious thing.

“It’s not really a burden, it’s more of a challenge because politics is about collaboration. “Here it is also related to cross-generation, cross-generation, cross-view, especially with our parents,” he concluded.

“So the challenge is how to communicate ideas which we then have to interpret according to the pockets we are targeting,” he said.
