The Spanish city of Oviedo declared an official mourning for two days after the death of 12-year-old Argentine twins in Spain after they fell from the sixth floor, and it was described as suicide, the second of its kind after another twin committed suicide last February due to bullying, according to the newspaper “La Pangordia”. Spanish.
The newspaper indicated that the city of Oviedo is horrified by the facts and details that are revealed in the investigation of the girls who died, and local media indicated that they both took their bags and pretended to go to school, like every day, however, they never left the building.
The newspaper stated that all the tools were found on the ladders that they used to climb six floors and then jump, and the police indicated that it was a case of suicide, as no tools were found indicating the presence of third parties in the crime.
The newspaper pointed out that until now the reasons that prompted the twins to make this decision are unknown, explaining that their parents were transferred to the Central University Hospital in Asturias to receive psychological assistance after they were traumatized.
This event is the second of its kind in Spain in 2023, where last February Alana and Lily threw themselves from the third floor in Catalonia, where after the event, a letter written by both of them was found explaining the reasons for the tragic decision.
Alana, who died after the jump, wrote, “I want to be happy, but I’m obviously going to suffer for the rest of my life and I’ve made the decision not to continue.”
