On Thursday, January 25 at 8:00 PM, the Cabaret Committee of the Rhoon Castle Foundation has set aside the Klokkezolder for a Double Program Cabaret evening. The artists this evening are: Arie Vuyk: Op Dreef and Femke Vernij: Op Volle Kracht, or a double program of the Buddhist and the ADHDer
One person leads a quiet, well-organized life, is a Buddhist, masters peace and focus. The other is an expert in multitasking, chaos and confusion. Where the Buddhist lets the audience roar with laughter without a care in the world, the ADHDer finds depth and vulnerability on stage. Arie (The Buddhist) and Femke (the ADHDer) each perform about an hour of their cabaret programs.
ON THE GO: When he was four years old, Arie Vuyk had a near-death experience. Back on earth he started to get annoyed by pickles, Veenendaal, the tooth fairy and museums. That was all much better arranged in the afterlife. Fifty years later, Arie celebrates his near-death experience in the theater with songs, conferences, characters and with you. AT FULL STRENGTH: “We are all beachcombers. Not only of things, but also of opinions, ideas, stories. And we recycle them into new opinions, new ideas and new stories,” is how this show is described. The energy and drive that Femke has in daily life and on stage is infectious. Her songs are all creative gems.
Tickets for €25.00 pp (incl. 2 drinks) online via More information about the duo: https://bit.ly/AVFV240125.
