At the American Research Center for Technology and Community, ADL conducted a survey of children and adolescents who are passionate about online games. The results of the analysis were published on the company’s official website.
The survey involved US children and adolescents aged 10 to 17. They answered questions about whether there was hate speech or other offensive behavior during or after a play session in online multiplayer games.
As the study showed, over 70% of respondents experience harassment in Dota 2. This figure is higher only in Valorant.
At the same time, 35% of respondents said they try to play differently in response to attacks.
