Yes. We fought it out against a strong opponent in a completely above-standard atmosphere. The match had a very solid pace, both teams created enough scoring opportunities. I praise the boys for the way they played out the game.

You came into the match a little loud. Do you agree?

It is so. At first we were not very brave. It was our first match in the first league after a year, so we were probably a little nervous. Ševčík’s leading goal helped us a lot. And when the opponent equalized, we soon regained the lead. It’s a shame that we didn’t keep the lead in the second half. Unfortunately, after our mistake, we let Kalabiška from Hradišť enter the penalty area, and Trávník, with a bit of luck, tied the score at 2:2 when the ball bounced off the post into the net. Both conceded goals were a bit unlucky from our point of view.

The best second-league gunner from last season, Řezníček, did not score this time, but assisted on both of your goals. How do you rate his contribution to the team?

In the duel with Slovácko, his teammates did not give him the necessary service, so he prepared it for Ševčík and Přichystal. Even in the role of assistant, he was incredibly valid. We are one team and we all care about fighting for each other and scoring as many goals as possible. No matter who gives them.

Above all, in defense, you made changes compared to the expected line-up…

In the preparation, the stopper pair Štěrba – Endl crystallized for us, but a minor health problem prevented Štěrba from playing. Šural, who stepped in for him, did very well. And Hrabina and Granečný started on the edges of the defense, because we thought they could eliminate the fast-footed wings of Slovácko Petržela and Holzer.

I am convinced that it is. I believe that with the increasing rounds of the top competition, our performance will increase even more.

Never. We knew it, we were ready for it. In the same way, the opponent probably guessed in which composition we will start.
