Borussia Dortmund relax about future speculation Erling Haaland. Dortmund coach Marco Rose ensure that management is open about contract extensions.
Dortmund face the threat of losing Erling Haaland in the summer following interest from a number of clubs. Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly serious about the 21-year-old striker.
Barcelona did experience financial difficulties, but an injection of funds from a new sponsor, Spotify, revived the opportunity again. While Paris Saint-Germain are rumored to be enlivening the race for Haaland, if Kylian Mbappe does not sign a new contract and leaves.
Haaland’s contract with Dortmund expires in June 2024. But reportedly there is a release clause worth 75 million Euros which makes Dortmund’s position not too strong.
The Borussia are currently in a position to provide options for Haaland, as they are believed to have applied for a contract extension. It is possible that Dortmund are trying to revise the release clause in Haaland’s contract.
Dortmund coach Marco Rose explains that the club is now just waiting for a decision Erling Haaland just.
“I know how long the contract is. I know what needs to be decided and when. Everything internally is ready, everyone is being honest with each other,” he told image quoted Mark.
“That’s why I don’t have to talk to him about this every day. At one point he will make a decision and the club will be ready for it. Of course we all want him to stay.”
