Defending champion FC Bayern Munich has caught a feasible lot in the second main round of the DFB Cup and has to compete with second division Holstein Kiel. This was the result of the draw for the games in the ARD Sportschau studio in Cologne on Sunday evening.
Borussia Dortmund pulled the former national player Inka Grings as an opponent of the second division and former champions Eintracht Braunschweig, who enjoys home rights against BVB. The Bundesliga top game of the round is the duel between Europa League starter Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. Champions League participant RB Leipzig visits FC Augsburg.
