BRNO, KOMPAS.com – Dorna Sports confirmed a positive case Covid-19 first on MotoGP. This positive case of the corona virus was found after a joint corona test before GP Brno, Czech.
Suspect positive for Covid-19 after test results came out on Saturday morning before the Czech FP2 and FP3 GP. Suspek was then quarantined, and people who had direct contact were also immediately tested.

The suspect who was exposed to the virus was a person, a member of the Dorna Sports team, and not of the MotoGP racing team. The one who was exposed is expected to be a French TV cameraman, Canal +.
Dorna’s full statement:
“After more than 5,500 tests were carried out on all paddock personnel before they attended the Spanish, Andalusian and Czech GPs, one person in the paddock of the FIM MotoGP World Championship tested positive for Covid-19,”
“The results were returned during tests carried out ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix. The person is a member of the Dorna Sports team and is asymptomatic,”
“Following the positive results arriving on Saturday morning, the person was immediately informed and isolated in their hotel,”

“Further tests are then carried out to confirm the results. This second test also proved positive and therefore staff members and all close contacts will remain isolated,”
“The local health authorities will now decide on the duration of self-isolation they should undertake,”
“As a precautionary measure, the Championship has taken the decision to test anyone who had secondary contact with this individual and each of them gave a negative result,”
