What a news from Dordrecht. The local FC will present eight new players in one fell swoop on Friday. After an ‘intensive selection procedure of more than a month’, Dordrecht has received the necessary reinforcements.
Stijn Meijer, Ibrahim Cissokko, Emir Biberoglu, Pascu, Alessio Miceli, Tim Hölscher, Mauro Savastano and Ruggero Mannes are making the switch to De Krommedijk, Dordrecht reports via the official channels. Two of these players have experience in the Eredivisie: Pascu relegated last year with ADO Den Haag, Hölscher played for FC Twente.
The arrival of Miceli is particularly striking. He was known as a great talent at the Italian Lazio, even played the Europa League with the club, but a definitive breakthrough was not forthcoming. He now makes the switch to Dordrecht via Piacenza. The trainer of the Sheep Heads, Michele Santoni, knows Miceli from his time as a youth trainer at Lazio.
