The prefecture announced Monday evening the temporary closure of the Dijon bypass, between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., in both directions of traffic.
A civil security exercise simulating an incident was underway at the Seveso site of Dijon Céréales in Longvic.
This closure was only to be done for a period of 15 to 30 minutes.

Many services were engaged on site: the prefecture, Dijon Céréales, the Departmental Directorate of Territories, the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Côte-d’Or, Dijon Métropole – PC On Dijon, the town hall of Longvic, the Samu, the gendarmerie, the Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Côte-d’Or, the Interdepartmental Directorate of Center-East Roads, as well as the services of APRR (Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône), of the Regional Directorate of environment, planning and housing, the departmental council and the regional health agency.
The prefecture specified in a press release: “At the end of the exercise, feedback from the various actors will make it possible to assess: the responsiveness of the services in the management of the event; the organization and information in with regard to the safety of Dijon Céréales personnel; the validity, with any modifications to be made, of the Dijon Céréales Particular Intervention Plan; “the effectiveness of the procedures for alerting, communication and organization of services; the management of the event by the departmental operational center of the prefecture; part of the traffic management plan. “
