Last Thursday, in the afternoon, the police officers of Beaune, as part of an operation of checks and search for offenses, under the authority of the Dijon public prosecutor’s office, arrested a man in the Saint-Jacques district . Aged 35, this inhabitant of the commune of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur was found to be carrying a small quantity of cocaine.
Later, a search of his home resulted in the seizure of 900 grams of cocaine. In connection with this case, his wife, also aged 35, was also arrested. For information, knowing that a gram of cocaine is worth around 70 euros on resale, the quantity seized corresponds to 63,000 euros.
The two people were brought before the Dijon prosecutor on Monday, for an immediate appearance.
