Shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, a fight broke out at 111, avenue du Drapeau, in Dijon, in the Junot district. The events would have unfolded in several stages, but would not have caused any injuries. The police officers, during their interventions, found themselves facing a group in tension which attacked them. They were the target of projectile throws. In total, fourteen people were arrested, but at different times.
Sticks, crutches and knife on a bus
Around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, in a bus on avenue Victor-Hugo, young people were reported, with sticks and crutches, in particular, in a bus from Talant, towards the Junot district. A 17-year-old was arrested with a knife on him.
So later, around 5.30 p.m., crews from the Specialized Field Brigade (BST), the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) and the police intervention section were dispatched near the Junot district. If the police were confronted with around thirty young people, nine were arrested, mostly aged 14 and 15, and largely from Chenôve and Talant. All were taken into police custody. Seven were summoned before the juvenile judge. Two were brought to the prosecution: a 16-year-old, and a 14-year-old who had Molotov cocktails on him.

Even later in the night, and without the elements being able for the moment to make a link with the previous facts, the police intervened on avenue du Drapeau, where armed men had been reported. At around 12:15 a.m., the bac and the canine brigade arrested four adults, three of 18 years old and one of 21 years old. A gas pistol was found near them. All were taken into police custody and the proceedings were sent to the prosecution.
