M & S Pâtisserie: this is the name of the new pastry-making activity which has just started at 36, rue de la Maurienne in Genlis. Driven to get started by relatives
It all started at weddings with their families: their creations were popular. They were then encouraged by their relatives to create this activity. “I have been in this environment for twenty-six years,” explains Sébastien Valy, 41, basketball player. “A real passion that I developed through my various training courses, from CAP to higher master’s degree in 2010. I have been working from the start at Saint-Nicolas gourmet in Fontaine-lès-Dijon and I wanted to satisfy my desire to be creative in this new activity and to regain contact with the consumer, helped by my partner Manon who was the trigger. “
Manon Cargnelutti, 26, is a Zumba enthusiast. “I met Sébastien at his workplace during my CAP pastry chef. But unfortunately I was never able to exercise my profession, for lack of an employer; and even if I like my job as a saleswoman in a large store in Genlis, I’m happy to be able to practice again, ”she confides.
Both offer lemon tart, paris-brest, saint-honoré, strawberry, small and large cakes (up to 50 portions), not to mention the logs that arrive, as well as many creations to discover.
