Given the situation of Laurent Grosperrin, who was planning to unite with Lætitia Detouillon – already mother of a 10-year-old girl, Elisa, whom he also took care of; and with whom he had had a little Emma, 4 years old – the family is not entitled to the survivor’s pension. “Beyond the suffering of the disappearance of a loved one, this bereaved family suffers materially from the absence of an official union,” emphasizes Dominique Brancher.
