At the exit of the Passage Darcy, in Dijon, two Dijon artists have opened a temporary shop.
The idea came from Sandrine Strella, restaurateur, who, during the first confinement, brought out her sewing machine. “To keep myself busy, I started to create fabric accessories: bags, pouches, wipes, masks…”, explains the designer, who has graduated from an upholsterer-decorator’s CAP since 2015. As for Jean- Charles Lebel, a former student of Fine Arts in Reims (Marne), now an industrial electrician, he returned to painting two years ago. “I wanted to reconnect with my passion and paint more or less famous Dijon urban landscapes”, explains the artist-painter. Both musicians in the same Dijon groups, they have joined forces for a common showcase in downtown Dijon.
