The active circulation of the virus in Dijon and its surroundings, but also throughout the Côte-d’Or, is no longer to be demonstrated: contamination and hospitalizations are accelerating daily. In the metropolis of Dijon, the situation raises fears of a passage in the maximum alert zone, a level triggering the establishment of a curfew.

Several cities are particularly monitored such as Strasbourg, Tours or Orléans. The city of the dukes also, because it now ticks, with its metropolis, the criteria of a change.
The incidence rate greatly exceeded
As we indicated to you on Wednesday evening, the incidence rate in the metropolis has largely crossed the threshold of 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (260.3 to date) all ages combined, and of 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants for people over 65 years of age (157.4). Thresholds synonymous with passing into the maximum alert zone.
Resuscitation: the 30% mark almost reached
This is the last criterion which makes it possible to place a metropolis in a maximum alert zone: an intensive care bed occupancy rate greater than 30%. On October 20, it was 28.8% in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
