This has been revealed by Marty Stratton, executive producer of id Software during an interview with Polygon. One of the topics to be discussed was the arrival of Doom Eternal to PS5 and Xbox Series X, to which the manager assured that they are working on it. He also revealed that the title will come as an update, which so far has no official arrival date.
“Once we have the hardware in hand, it’s really kind of a back-and-forth between the tech team and the creative team. Ray tracing is a great example.
