DOOM Eternal is really nice and rolls quite well on console, but there is always room for improvement. We have already known that the game will have a regular version for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S and now we have found out that it will be released on June 29. The upgrade will be free to download for anyone who has previously purchased the game on each platform.
The upgraded version of DOOM Eternal rolls a little better and looks a little nicer on the different consoles. On all consoles, a Performance mode with 120fps will be offered, but with a slightly different resolution. Players will also be able to choose a Ray Tracing mode with slightly nicer effects and at the same time get 60 fps. Or players can choose Balanced mode which gives you high resolution, slightly nicer effects and stable fps at 60.
