Judge Alfis Setiawan condemned the businessman Harvey Moes because he continued to talk without listening to questions. The judge was suspicious of Harvey’s answersposition.
Harvey was presented as a witness to the beneficial owner of CV Venus Inti Perkasa and PT Menara Cipta Mulia, Tamron alias Aon, at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Monday (4/11/2024). First, the judge asked about the minimum amount of CSR funds Harvey received.

“Sometimes at home, sometimes restaurants,” Harvey replied.
“How much do you accept?” asked the judge.
“different, Your Highness,” Harvey replied.
“What’s the least?” asked the judge.
“Not in the least, Your Honor, because it’s a voluntary donation,” Harvey replied.
The judge immediately criticized Harvey for answering questions without first listening. The judge suspected that Harvey had memorized his answers.

“What is less?” asked the Judge.
“Not in the least, Your Highness,” Harvey replied.
Harvey admitted that he never remembered the number of transactions with crazy rich Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Helena Lim. The judge also admitted that it was strange that Harvey did not register the affair.
“What’s the biggest?” asked the judge.
“You don’t remember either, Your Highness,” Harvey replied.
“You might as well be a businessman of your stature, you don’t remember how much money you got, the biggest amount, and it wasn’t recorded either. A businessman is you’re, you know, a coal businessman, brother. How is that?? That makes sense,” said the judge.
“I didn’t notice, Your Highness,” Harvey replied.
The judge then questioned Harvey’s reasons for not recording the transaction. The judge believed that Harvey, as a businessman, should always register transactions with anyone.
“Yes, why isn’t it recorded?” asked the judge.
“I didn’t notice it, Your Highness,” Harvey said.
“Yeah why not?” asked the judge.
“That’s a note for me to be more orderly in future, Your Highness,” Harvey replied.
