Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has come out against Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s remark that housewives should be paid. Shashi Tharoor had taken to Twitter to express his support for Kamal Haasan’s idea that housewives should be paid for their work at home. Kangana Ranaut criticized this.
They described Tharoor’s tweet as “partly painful and partly funny”. Women do not need a salary to become queens of their own small country. “Women don’t just need love, respect or salary,” Kangana said.
‘Don’t value our romantic sex, don’t pay us for motherhood, we don’t need a salary to be queens of our own country, stop seeing everything as business. Surrender to your woman. She needs not only your love, respect and salary but all of you together, ”Kangana said.
Kamal Haasan has promised that housewives will be paid a monthly salary if their children come to power in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The announcement said her party was prioritizing women’s empowerment.
