Jakarta

Captain’s comment Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes, after beating Manchester City misinterpreted. The Portuguese player asked that his name not be used to attack Cristiano Ronaldo.

MU won over City with a final score of 2-1. In the match that took place at Old Trafford, the visitors took the lead via Jack Grealish’s header. MU won after Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford got their names on the scoreboard.

In the interview after the match, Bruno Fernandes admitted that the Red Devils are now playing as a team. This allegedly targeted Ronaldo.

“(We) are used to playing individually, now we are a team. You can see the team working with each other,” he said Bruno Fernandes as reported by Talksport.

Feeling that his comments were misinterpreted, Bruno Fernandes provided clarification via his personal account Instagram story. He included uploads from an Instagram account.

“Thanks to someone who posted the exact words I said! I know it’s hard to see Manchester United achieve good results and have nothing more to say about us than good things about us in the news,” said Bruno Fernandes.

“Don’t use my name to try to attack Cristiano. Cristiano was part of our team for half a season and as I said in many interviews.”

“Everyone, since Liverpool have been incredible and act like a team they deserve and you can see the end result. We keep going!” say Bruno Fernandes confirm.
