Don’t Try to Provoke Hate Speech on Instagram

VIVAInstagram announced the Limits feature set to prevent hate speech (hate speech) such as rude and racist comments and other abuse on its platform.

Citing site about.fb, Thursday, August 12, 2021, Head of Instagram’s Adam Mosseri said this feature has been available to users globally since Wednesday, August 11, after going through a trial in July this year.

The Limits feature allows users to block comments and Direct Message (DM) containing hate speech from people who are not followers or have recently become followers. Instagram says it will send a stronger warning message when an offender posts a potentially offensive comment.
