Ronaldo is currently embroiled in a conflict at Manchester United. The 37-year-old player gave a controversial answer during an interview with Piers Morgan, which aired on TalkSport.
In the interview, Ronaldo admitted that he was betrayed by MU. Morgan then expressed his opinion that Arsenal would take Ronaldo to become Gabriel Jesus’ duet partner.
Ronaldo much better named than the former Arsenal player, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Former Arsenal player Perry Groves rejected Morgan’s suggestion.
“This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard because Ronaldo is 20 times Aubameyang,” Groves told Sportskeeda.
Perry Groves later revealed Arsenal’s style of play under Arteta. He stressed that Ronaldo, who has a big ego, is not compatible with Arteta’s philosophy that prioritizes team unity.
“The philosophy that Mikel Arteta has adopted for the Arsenal players is not ego, humility, you all work hard for the team, it’s all about the team. You think, oh no, come on and put the biggest ego in the world and let’s destroy everything,” Groves said again.
Arsenal currently top of the Premier League table. From the 14 games they waged, the Gunners picked up 37 points from 12 wins, one draw and one loss.
