Experts have always warned about the importance of cooking and the tools we use in it for human health.
While a pan is an essential component of kitchen equipment, on the other hand, it can be a cause for concern.
Scientists from Newcastle University and Flinders University in Australia have confirmed that there are health risks to the pan if exposed to scratches of some kind, according to the journal Science of The Total Environment.
The study confirmed that damage to the pan from a scratch can lead to the spread of more than 2.3 million plastic nanoparticles that are transmitted to food.
dangerous minutes
To study the consequences of using tools in Tefalon, the researchers used molecular spectroscopy and also designed a computer model, in which they emphasized the need to inform specialists and consumers of the danger of those minutes while preparing food.
The researchers also pointed out that further experiments need to be conducted to assess the danger of these minutes to human health.

Furthermore, Yuhong Tang, a mechanical engineer from the same university and supervisor of the research, warned that the recent results give a warning in order to pay attention to the need to select and use kitchen utensils to avoid food contamination.
A clear warning .. stop using it
Interestingly, the researchers called for further investigation into how common and dangerous this release of microplastics and nanoplastics is in these cases.
As a result, they issued warnings to avoid using old pots and pans, especially after a certain amount of time had passed.
