“Don’t say that!” – the famous play, which brings together the actors Teodora Duchovnikova and Zahari Baharov with the director Yavor Gurdev, will be a guest again in Burgas. The French comedy with Salome Lelouch will be held at the Summer Theater on September 11.
With more than 50 shows played so far in front of almost 40,000 audiences in the country and abroad, the title is one of the most popular on the theater scene.
What can we say? When? In what way? Under the circumstances? Although we take freedom of speech for granted, there are things that can no longer be said. Especially in a relationship between a man and a woman.
However, they tell each other everything. Two characters with hellish personalities. It is unconscious, impulsive and not silent. She is unfiltered, sassy and arrogant. They love each other, but they spend most of their time arguing and arguing.
Money, politics, plastic surgery, social networks… The topics are endless, as is the argument, because no one goes back from their position.
They are Teodora Duhovnikova and Zahari Baharov, and under the direction of Yavor Gardev, together they “put together” on the stage of the theater “Tova ne go kasay!”. The French play has three nominations for the Molière Award 2022 – for “Best Comedy”, “Best Actor in a Private Theater” and “Best Author”.

“Don’t say that!” It is a dialogue comedy in a free and unconventional tone. The lines are sharp, but at the same time funny… Because they are true. And because they are present in the life of every married couple.
The production is by Svila Velichkova, the translation is by Snezhina Zdravkova, the sound design is by Gennadiy Ivanov, and the author of the lighting design is Stefan N. Shterev. The producer of the show is “Base X”.
