On Monday, July 25, a new edition of the printed BIHOREAN appeared, with content rich in exclusive and varied information. Here is what you can read in the new issue:
The parking lots are disappearing!
Mayor Florin Birta is preparing radical changes in the field of parking, after the already implemented system does not meet the municipality’s expectations. Most of the complaints submitted by the citizens of Oradea to the Local Police concern illegal parking; Drivers prefer to pay more and even be fined, just to leave their cars as close as possible to their destination; The management of the City Hall is considering the elimination of the red parking lots in the center because, despite the steep fee of 8 lei per hour, they are permanently occupied, making traffic difficult; Individual home parking lots, for which some Oradeans bid exorbitant sums, could be replaced with a system that would allow the now “reserved” places to be occupied by other cars.
Contest for favorite
Bihor watched a “solved” competition so that a minister’s protégé would remain head of the second largest hospital in Bihor.
Director of the Marghita Municipal Hospital since the time when Minister Cseke Attila was in charge of Health, Aliz Bradacs receives another mandate as a manager, although she stood out by losing her accreditation, wasting and hiring with dedication.
Bihor, at the eurocent
The average of the last 7 years shows that Bihor attracted, from non-refundable funds, 4,700 lei for each inhabitant of the county.
In the last European budget exercise, the companies, authorities and institutions from Bihor signed 374 European financing contracts, with a total value of 3.9 billion lei, of which 2.7 billion were the money attracted, and the difference, the own contribution .
School in “service”
In the midst of the summer vacation, the Ministry of Education submitted the new education laws to public debate.
Presented when the public’s attention is extremely low, the projects foresee big changes: students may no longer take the National Assessment exam, but only one for admission to a college, the baccalaureate will have an optional test, and academic plagiarism will be investigated in universities who surrounded them.
Hell on earth!
The farmers of Bihor have had a disastrous year after the drought and heat scorched their fields.
The scorching of the last few weeks has halved the corn and sunflower crops and is leaving the animals without food, forcing the owners to consider culling them because they will not have anything to keep them through the winter.
Made in Ukraine
A young refugee painter from Ukraine wants to organize a street art festival in Oradea, starting with the decoration of the promenade on Crişul Repede.
Alexei Shkurat, originally from Odesa, arrived in Oradea shortly after the outbreak of the war and initially stayed only because his car broke down nearby, but now he doesn’t want to leave, being in love with his adopted city.
FREE TIME
The oases near us
In the summer season, Bihor residents can exchange the heat of the cities for adventures in the county, in places with memorable landscapes and adrenaline-inducing activities.
Among the destinations suitable even for one-day outings are ShauaLive, with hammocks and hydrobikes, Caii din Vale, which will soon host an equestrian show, and a dino-park recently set up in Stâna de Vale.
FEEDBACK:
Mircea Chirilă: He’s stupid, yes, our stupid
The scandal of the party lobbies in Bucharest, for which the employment contests in the budget system were rigged, shows that Romania is run by some crooks, both moral and professional. But the simple possession of the party card also wreaks havoc on our lives.
It is also the case of the head of the Heritage Directorate, Lucian Popa, who comes from an old liberal family that has tasted the benefits of the Brăteni doctrine since 1998-2000. Mr. Popa, from the position of patron of a bankrupt buffet, became directly the head of the City Hall. Since under Bolojan’s mandate the directors had a more decorative role, the man could not show his incompetence too much. But now his exploits are coming to light.
Adrian Cris: Justice with different interpretations
A Bihor resident from Sălard was arrested last month by a decision of the Oradea Court, after vandalizing several cars, stabbing his brother and assaulting one of the policemen sent to intervene. Also last month, the Bihor Court was ready to leave under house arrest a young man from Oradea who had cut the throat of another, the Court of Appeal later decided, however, that he should be placed under preventive arrest. In both cases, the crime was the same; attempted murder, only the victims were from different categories. In the second case, a certain “civilian”, in the first one also a lawman, which probably mattered decisively for the arrest, the law protecting the policemen in the exercise of their duties, as well as the magistrates. How, by the way, is natural.
THE LEGAL CORNER
