KOMPAS.com – For those of you who enjoy heavenly events, there will be three events Asteroid It will move closer to Earth by the end of January 2021.
Indonesian amateur astronomer Marufin Sudipio said there were three asteroid events Asteroid 65717 (1993 PX3), asteroid 2020 pp and asteroid 468727 (2010 JE 87). The following is a detailed explanation.
1. Asteroid 65717 (1993×3)
Sunday January 17, 2021 Asteroid 65717 (1993 PX3) is said to be moving closer to Earth.
Asteroid 65717 (1993 PX3) was discovered in 1993, has a diameter of 246 m and is the closest Earth asteroid to the Apollo class, so it has an orbit that can interfere with Earth’s orbit.
“On Sunday, January 17, 2021, the asteroid will be 18.5 times or 7.1 million kilometers closer than the Earth-Moon average distance near Earth,” said Marufin, Friday (1/1/2021).
However, Marufin confirmed that the asteroid has no potential to collide with Earth, at least until the next century.

2. Asteroids 2020 p
The second asteroid, asteroid 2020 PB, is predicted to approach Earth on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
For your information, the asteroid 2020 PP was discovered in 2020, has a diameter of 218 m and is classified as the closest asteroid class to Apollo, so it has an orbit that can disrupt Earth’s orbit.
On Saturday (23/1/2021), the asteroid will orbit 18.2 times or 7 million kilometers longer than the average Earth-Moon distance near Earth.
Like the first asteroid, this second asteroid doesn’t have the energy to collide with Earth, at least until the next century.

3. Asteroid 468727 (2010 JE87)
The next asteroid 468727 (2010 JE87) which was discovered in 2010 will approach Earth on Monday (25/1/2021).
With a diameter of 257 meters, the asteroid is classified as the closest asteroid to Earth in the Aden class, so it has an orbit that could interfere with Earth’s orbit, Marufin said.
On Monday, January 25, 2021, this asteroid will be 15.8 times or 6.1 million kilometers closer than the average Earth-Moon distance near Earth.
Like Asteroid 65717 (1993 PX3) and Asteroid 2020 PP, this asteroid 468727 (2010 JE 87) does not have the potential to collide with Earth, at least until the next century.
