Virtually no one has money to spare today, quite the opposite. For years, households managed to manage it in every possible way and overcome one crisis after another. But now everything is coming down hard and there is no improvement in sight. At the same time, it looks like another difficult year awaits us. And maybe not just one.
Claim to money
However, there is a possibility that you could get some of your hard-earned money back. Simply because it belongs to you. However, they are now held by the authorities, from whom you must collect them. And if you don’t, unfortunately what will happen is that you will lose them irretrievably.
We are talking about nothing else than the funds from the second pension pillar, which was canceled years ago. Many people have already withdrawn their money, but many of them have not yet done so. They may think that their funds are safe somewhere and that they will get paid for retirement. However, this is not the case, they must apply for them immediately, as the time allotted for this is coming to an end.
The General Financial Directorate has set a deadline until the end of this year, when everyone must withdraw the money from the second pillar. They are currently lying there for 3.5 million crowns from a total of hundreds of different people. In any case, it is thousands of crowns, but there are also those who have 100 thousand or more unclaimed there.

There isn’t much time left
Of course, this is not money that anyone can afford to lose these days, even if they don’t need it right now. Also, be aware that if you do not actively apply for your funds, they will be transferred to the state budget next year. They will simply take them away from you and next year they will no longer accept your request for their return.

There is not much time left, especially knowing that the authorities do not want to work too much before Christmas and it can be difficult to get anything done. However, you still have this option even if you were to make a written submission, for example via a data box. Processing of the request may then take up to 30 additional days. Subsequently, the money lands on your account and can serve as a very pleasant improvement that you may not have even expected.
