Don’t Leave Jakarta! Current Conditions Are More Emergency Than the Beginning of Corona

Governor DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan asked people not to leave the capital. He ensured that the current situation in Jakarta was more emergency than the beginning of the outbreak Corona enter Indonesia.

“The message is clear, currently the emergency condition is more emergency than the beginning of the outbreak,” said Anies Baswedan at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (9/9/2020).

Anies also asked the community not to leave the house if there was no urgent need. He also asked the people of Jakarta not to leave the capital.

“So don’t leave the house if you don’t have to, stay at home and don’t go out of Jakarta if there is no urgent need,” said Anies.

Previously reported, Anies decided to pull the emergency brake in DKI Jakarta related to the Corona virus outbreak. Anies also asked that a number of activities be limited, such as at the beginning of the implementation of the PSBB.

“In the task force meeting this afternoon it was concluded that we will pull the emergency brake, which means we are forced to re-implement the PSBB as in the early days of the pandemic, no longer a transitional PSBB, but we must carry out the PSBB as where it was in the early days,” said Anies.

Anies also asked that all activities, such as work and worship, be carried out from home. This is in accordance with President Jokowi’s direction at the beginning of Corona.

“We will apply it as directed by the President at the beginning of the outbreak, namely working from home, learning from home, and trying to worship from home,” he said.
