“Don’t hide me, tell me everything”

What have been the milestones in your career so far? How have you developed yourself and your sound?
It all started with the German casting show “The Voice of Germany” – in 2018. Bettina Moncher from the Starmaker GmbH agency in Seefeld saw me on TV and wrote to me on Facebook. We met, planned a concert, and management developed from there. This was followed by several concerts and the first album with many songs that were not written by me. Then Corona came, we lost all our appearances and I started presenting myself on TikTok with several videos a day – and suddenly I had three million followers. The next step was the second album, I wrote every song on it myself – together with songwriters. I was able to learn a lot and developed brutally. I always tried to get more out of myself. In the end, 13 songs appeared on the album, and we wrote 40 or even more. And about the sound: Here I learned step by step how to pack my own stories into songs. We’ve become a lot more rock and pop. I don’t hide, I say everything straight out. When it comes to writing songs, I’m not the greatest poet, I’m the one who gets the message straight out and says what’s on his mind. That’s how I am in real life too.
