Don’t go to Prague, you are in danger, warns Rangers fans Kamar’s lawyer

Rangers’ lawyer Glen Kamara warned fans of the Glasgow club before traveling to Prague for a European League match against Sparta. According to Aamer Anwar, they could endanger their lives in the Czech capital.

“I am afraid of the safety of anyone who travels to Prague – players and fans,” Anwar told the British tabloid Daily Record. He thinks Rangers supporters are in danger from violent ultras, who he says belong to both the Sparta and Slavia camps.

“It will be dangerous for players and fans. I think it’s really risky. I would be afraid of fans who would go without tickets. It’s not worth risking on your own. A nice trip could turn into a tragedy,” says Anwar. “I suspect those ultras would be looking for Rangers fans who wouldn’t stand a chance. The best they can do is stay safe at home.”

A Scottish lawyer and activist of Pakistani descent represented Kamara, who accused the glorious Ondřej Kúdel of racist insult in the March retaliation of the eighth finals of the European League. Although Kúdela denied racism, he was banned from UEFA in ten matches, for which he lost the European Championship. The disciplinary commission stopped the activity of the Finnish dark-skinned midfielder, who physically attacked Kudela in the bowels of the stadium in Glasgow after the match, for three matches. Kamara faced threats after a heated match on social networks.

“We have witnessed a death threat. The authorities must act really hard this time. I would like to see a very strong UEFA statement warning of the consequences of further difficulties,” Anwar said.
