Rainfall continues in many places in the country, and the warning of the first degree, code “yellow” for significant amounts, is still in effect over South-Western Bulgaria.
Cloudiness over the country will be significant during the next 24 hours. In many places in Western and Central Bulgaria there will be precipitation, in some areas it will be temporarily intense, significant in quantity and with thunderstorms. In the eastern regions, precipitation will be weaker, in fewer places and mainly in the afternoon hours. The wind will be moderate, in Eastern Bulgaria temporarily strong from the north-northwest. The maximum temperatures will be from 18°-20° in the western regions to 30° in the eastern regions, in Sofia around 18°.
And on the sea coast in the afternoon, cloud cover will be significant. It will rain in some places, it is also possible to thunder in some areas. It will be windy with a moderate, temporarily strong northerly wind. The maximum temperatures will be around 25°-27°, close to the temperature of the sea water, and the wave of the sea will be 2-3 points.
It will also be cloudy in the mountains, with precipitation, in places and thunder, and on the highest parts of Rila and Pirin, the rain will mix with snow. It will be very windy with moderate to strong northeasterly winds and temperatures will drop significantly.
And in the Balkans it will be mostly cloudy, in many places with showers and thunderstorms, more significant in central and northern Greece. A cooling is also coming and the temperatures will be lower than usual for the period.
In our country, there will be rain and thunder on Sunday as well, but in fewer places and with less intensity. An increase in wind is expected in the western part of the Danube plain and in the eastern regions. In the first half of the new week there will be variable cloud cover, over many areas decreasing to sunny. The chance of precipitation is decreasing, and temperatures will remain unchanged.
