Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A number of countries have allowed their citizens to no longer wear masks. This is because the country has managed to control the Covid-19 pandemic and recorded a decrease in cases.
For example, in the United States, citizens are allowed not to wear masks while on the move provided they have been injected with the second stage of the Covid-19 vaccine. In addition, there are also several other countries that allow their citizens not to wear masks.

The United States government (US) allows its citizens to move without wearing masks. However, with the condition that you must have carried out the full Covid-19 vaccination or twice.
This was revealed by US President Joe Biden through uploads on the official White House Instagram page.
“Vaxxed or masks,” said Biden in the boomerang video.
The White House also added a description in the video regarding the requirements for US citizens who wish to be able to carry out activities without wearing masks.
“The choice is yours. Vaccinate or wear a mask until you do,” wrote the white house.
Previously, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through its latest public health guide, said that this provision applies both indoors and outdoors.
The guide also describes a number of instances where people still need to wear masks such as in health care settings or in businesses that require them. This provision also applies to people who have had their last vaccine dose for two weeks or more, and are not allowed to use a mask.

Hungarian Prime Minister (PM) Viktor Orban claims his government has managed to control the Covid-19 pandemic. In a press conference on Friday (21/5/2021), Orban said Hungary had vaccinated nearly 5 million citizens.
He added that now is the right time to part ways with wearing masks in public places.
“Goodbye, masks,” he said.
“This means we have succeeded in defeating the third wave of the pandemic,” continued Orban.
The far-right leader also said he would lift most of the Covid-19 restrictions, including curfews. Orban said the public can hold meetings of up to 500 people.
Condition, the meeting is held in the open air. Meanwhile, events in closed rooms are valid for residents who already have a vaccination card.
