DODOMA, KOMPAS.com – President of Tanzania John Magufuli, an incredulous figure Covid-19, now its existence is starting to reap a mystery.
Magufuli last appeared in public on February 27, at the foreign minister’s oath-taking ceremony in Dar Es Salaam.
Politicians in both Tanzania and neighboring Kenya assume Magufuli fell ill after Chief Secretary John Kijazi died last month.
The disappearance of John Magufuli is clearly a strange thing, considering that he can appear on television several times a week.
Kenya Daily The Nation reported, Magufuli was flown to the capital Nairobi and received treatment.

In June 2020, he declared the country of 60 million people “free” of the plague thanks to three days of prayer.
He refused to impose a lockdown, even calling on the world that it was safe for them to travel to his place.

Though as reported Sky News Wednesday (10/3/2021), a number of neighbors in Africa have tightened borders.
Tanzania had reported the first case of Covid-19 on March 16, 2020. However, Magufuli took it lightly.
In his speech at Dodoma March 22, the 61-year-old president claimed the pandemic would not hurt Tanzania, which is predominantly Christian.
” Corona virus it is like the devil, will not be able to penetrate the body of (Jesus) Christ. He will burn instantly, “he claims.
Even when the test kits came, Magufuli flatly rejected them and called them a failure.
Because in his claim, the test kit even gave positive results for goats and papaya fruit.

John Magufuli even asked his citizens to inhale steam and eat potatoes as a counter medicine corona virus.
He even asked his people to continue praying to him God, both when they seek treatment and work.
Only on February 21, Magufuli admitted that the country in the East African region was beginning to be overwhelmed with dealing with the corona.
His confession came after a number of his officials died. Besides Kijazi, Zanzibar First Vice President Seif Sharif Hamad died.
