Gratification is a gift in a broad sense that includes money, goods, rebates (rebates), commissions, interest-free loans, travel tickets, lodging facilities, tours, free medical care, and other facilities. Gratification is also one of the new types of corruption.
This is governed by the Corruption Crime Act from 2001 under articles 12B and 12C. However, receiving tips cannot be considered a criminal act if the receipt is reported to the Commission for the Elimination of Corruption (KPK).
