Suara.com – Task Force Leader Covid-19 from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Prof. Zubairi Djoerban then provide feedback regarding Singapore who intends to regard Covid-19 as common cold.

Through a tweet that he uploaded on his Twitter account, Monday (28/6/2021) Prof. Zubairi appealed to the Indonesian people not to get tired of hearing the news.

He reminded the Indonesian people that there is still a lot of homework to do about handling Covid-19. Starting from the emergence of the Delta variant, low vaccinations, to hospitals that are fully filled.

“Don’t be lazy and compare us with Singapore, which will treat Covid-19 like a common cold,” said Prof. Zubairi in his tweet, quoted by Suara.com, Tuesday (29/6/2021).

“We still have a lot of homework to do: Variant Delta + vaccination rate is still low + testing is low + hospitals are full,” he continued.

Furthermore, Prof. Zubairi reiterated that all parties should focus on handling Covid-19 in Indonesia.

“Let’s focus on handling it in our own country. Thank you,” he concluded.

Launching from Solopos.com — Suara.com network, Singapore immediately stated that Covid-19 would be treated like an endemic disease such as the common cold. The country will not impose strict regulations to stop the transmission of the corona virus.
