Don has released the song “Your Touch”, its video clip, announced the upcoming album and also a big concert, this time scheduled for July 1, in the ruins of Sigulda Castle.
If someone has been particularly hard hit by the pandemic, it is Don, who initially had to cancel a big concert at the Daugava Stadium a year and a half ago, but last autumn the concert at the Palladium also collapsed at the last minute. Well, Don has announced an open-air concert that will take place on July 1 in the ruins of Sigulda Castle. “I have been waiting for a long time to meet my listeners and I can share news – not only the already known songs will be heard in Sigulda, but also the music from my new album, which will reach the listeners already this summer,” Don informs.
A new song “Your Touch” has been submitted for the audience’s evaluation – a typical melodic piece in the style of Don. “It was a real pleasure for me to return to Berlin and work with producer Kim W again, and I’m also pleased with the first collaboration with Marta Pujat, the author of the lyrics,” says Don.
The video version of the song has been made in collaboration with the “film naked” studio, the music video is directed by Papa Chi & Kaspars Roga, the producer is Ināra Šumeiko. The song is sensual and lyrically beautiful in itself, so we approached it ascetically, referring to one of the most beautiful cinema stories in the world – Wim Wenders’ “Sky over Berlin”, taking it to Riga tonight. The girls who watched the clip all said, “I’ve cried on the tram too!” So everything is right, so everything is true, ”says one of the directors of the clip, Papa Chi.
