“It was a day of positivity,” says Roelvink. “Decorating the Christmas tree, having a fun night with my dad performing, and being inundated every five minutes with hundreds of beautiful messages about episode seven of Special forces. And then all of a sudden you feel that you have testicular cancer…”
Roelvink shows some photos from the hospital. His brother Dave, among others, is sitting at his bedside.
An action plan was drawn up within 24 hours. “After hearing a positive CT scan result (which luckily showed no further metastases) I immediately went under the knife,” the reality star said. She writes that the operation went well.
For now, Roelvink has to wait and see if there will be follow-up treatment. “But I’m also in this with positive thinking,” he says.
Roelvink makes no further announcements. As I stated in a previous post: It’s about how hard you can get hit and still keep going.”
