Dongfeng Forthing T5 Evo Heat Wave: The Chinese SUV That Rivals a Lamborghini Urus

It’s also yellow, it’s also beautiful, but instead of a bull, it has an east wind logo on the hood. The limited edition of the Dongfeng Forthing T5 Evo Heat Wave model has arrived in the Czech Republic, which visually resembles the monstrous Urus from Lamborghini.

Bright yellow color, sports bodykit, four exhaust tips. Full Chinese Urus!

The Chinese SUV, dressed in an attractive body kit, shines brightly and looks no less exotic. The quality of processing of additional sub-spoilers and other accessories, which differentiate the Heat Wave from the serial T5, will especially surprise you live.

The basic equipment of the car includes, for example, disc brakes, electric parking brake, eight airbags, LED daytime running lights, LED rear lights, optional front LED lights (basically halogen), polished 19-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, 360-degree panoramic camera system, air conditioning, heating , massage and ventilation of the driver’s seat or perhaps a basic information system.

The interior relies on a modern concept of unified screens.

More advanced assistants such as lane keeping, blind spot detection and automatic braking are currently missing. The plan is to deploy them for the T5 Evo model range sometime next year.

In any case, despite the four functional exhaust tips, the T5 Evo Heat Wave does not work under the hood of a four-liter eight-cylinder engine like the Urus, but rather a gasoline four-cylinder fifteen-cylinder engine with an output of 130 kW (176.7 hp) and a torque of 260 Nm, which is transmitted exclusively to the front wheels by a seven-speed dual-clutch machine.

While you will pay almost 5 million crowns for a Lamborghini Urus, the Dongfeng Forthing T5 Evo Heat Wave will cost almost 830,000 CZK, including yellow paint and LED headlights. Approximately 68 pieces are available for the Czech and Slovak market, of which 18 do not yet have their owner. Once that happens, the Heat Wave edition will be replaced by the Thunder, but it will be a hybrid.
