Donetsk authorities have said what they see as their referendum

The turnout in the referendum in the Donetsk People’s Republic has exceeded 50 percent and can be considered valid, Alexander Kofman, head of the Public Chamber of the Republic, told TASS in a briefing in the CEC of the region, BGNES reported.

“According to international norms, a referendum is considered valid if 50% plus one voter voted in it. According to yesterday’s results, this milestone has been reached,” said Kofman.
