DALLAS (AP) – Luka Doncic shone with 36 points, becoming only the second player in NBA history to score nine games with 30 points at the start of a season, when the Dallas Mavericks won 96-94 against Brooklyn on Monday Nets.
Dorian Finney-Smith scored 18 points and Josh Green added 16 for the Mavs, who have won four of the six games.
Kevin Durant had 26 points for the Nets, who were leading by 14 after eight minutes. Cam Thomas scored 19 points, Royce O’Neal added 15 and Joe Harris finished with 14.
