Together with &US, the insurer has implemented access to its digital offerings for everyone.
In order to meet its claim to inclusion and accessibility, Donau Versicherung now has a barrier-free website. This was developed in cooperation with &US and its technical partners Rudy Bohrer developed and optimized to meet the current W3C standards. This is the only way to ensure that everyone has equal access to the insurance company’s digital services.
“It was crucial for us to work with our technical partner to create an inclusive user experience for the Danube and, above all, its customers,” explains Stefanie GreenerDirector Growth Consulting at &US. “This step was of great importance in order to send a strong signal for more accessibility and customer orientation in the digital age.”
Certified website
For these efforts, Donau Versicherung was the first in its industry to be awarded the Web Accessibility Certificate Austria (WACA) in bronze. This is the first independent quality seal to verify compliance with accessibility standards.
“As an insurance company that is strongly focused on the needs of its customers, it was essential for us that our website is accessible to everyone,” emphasizes Andreas CieslarMarketing & Branding Donau Versicherung. The award of the WACA certificate in bronze is proof that the goal of “creating a more inclusive digital presence” has been successfully achieved.
