Vienna (OTS) – DONAU Versicherung continues with the appointment of Andrea Weidinger a clear accent and strengthens the company’s efforts to meet ESG criteria at all levels. Andrea Weidinger will actively and actively shape the strategic direction of DONAU in the area of sustainability. This includes, among other things, the inclusion of the Sustainable Development Goals in all business activities of DONAU, the management of the ESG committee for the structured establishment of sustainability aspects in DONAU as well as the coordination of the Sustainable Finance department and climate management to reduce the CO2 footprint in ongoing business operations the company.

Andrea Weidinger, born in 1991, completed her law studies in Linz in 2016. As a trainee, she gained her first professional experience at well-known law firms in Prague and Vienna. She completed the court year in Vienna and then worked in a law firm as an associate. Since March 2018, Andrea Weidinger has been supporting the General Secretariat of DONAU with her legal expertise for projects and the preparation of Supervisory Board meetings. In October 2021 she started her master’s degree in “Sustainability and Responsible Management” at the FH BFI Vienna. She has been a volunteer mentor at Sinbad since 2019.
