Washington: Staff are complaining about Apple’s donation to teams that oppose Israel. The employees protested in an open letter in opposition to donations to organizations that help the Israeli navy. The letter asks to cease the donation.
We’re asserting our protest as a part of the Apple for Seafire initiative. We oppose unlawful donations to anti-Israel organizations. Two organizations that fund unlawful settlements are being requested to take away them from the donation platform. “All organizations that help the Israeli navy should be investigated and donations should cease,” the letter stated.
The letter mentions organizations akin to Pals of the Israel Protection Forces, Howell Inc., One Israel Fund, Jewish Nationwide Fund, and Israel Provides. 133 individuals have signed the letter.
US-based firms have reportedly given hundreds of thousands of {dollars} to unlawful Israeli settlement teams over the previous decade and a half.
