Likewise, awareness-raising, production and intervention workshops are carried out as in educational projects transversal to the curricular spaces of the different levels of educational establishments; promotion, care, training and activities with the community in the central building of the regional center, as well as the professional practices of the Higher Technician in Hemotherapy career.
The work is carried out with short, medium and long-term objectives, for the benefit of the community, being next to the people and promoting the culture of blood donation.
Finally, it should be noted that each year the main event is held in a different place in the province to entertain voluntary and regular blood donors.
Jujuy Regional Hemotherapy Center
In this center the provincial health portfolio has everything ready to receive you Av. Snopek esq. Lt. Bolzán, Alto Comedero Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bus lines that converge in the center: Lines L1, 3, 7 and 45.
Requirements to donate blood
– Be healthy
– DNI or other identification with photo
– Weigh more than 50 kg
– Be between 18 and 65 years old
– Eat breakfast before donating (tea, coffee, mate, juice)
– Not having had dengue symptoms in the last month
– Do not consume alcohol in excess (at least 12 hours before)
– Do not smoke before or after donating (at least 2 hours)
– Not having had tattoos or piercings in recent months
– Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
