BEAUTIFUL, THEY ARE.– Before some publications on social networks in groups for the adoption of dogs and cats, where it was mentioned that to adopt a dog it was necessary to donation of 2 kilos of croquettes, the director of the Hermosillo Canine and Feline Attention Center, commented that this it is not mandatory.
Jorge Alberto Zepeda Redondo, indicated that the center currently has around 14 dogs, which were taken by people who mentioned they were in a state of abandonment, as well as that many of these were left at the doors of the institution.
“It is voluntary to donate the 2 kilos of croquettes, it is really asked on a voluntary basis and if they want to give it, with this to continue giving food to the other dogs, it is not mandatory”, He explained.
He also pointed out that the institution already has food that the municipality provides them, since there is a budget for this. The Canine and Feline Care Center of Hermosillo currently it has given priority and has bet on the campaigns of sterilization.
“The sessions are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in different neighborhoods of the city and, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the center”, He mentioned.
The priority, Zepeda Redondo stressed, is not to pick up the dogs from the streets to have them in the Antirabico, but guide to people and educate for greater attention to culture of animal care.
