In just one hour you can save up to 3 lives! There are also more blood donation dates at our school this year. The Red Cross will be there on August 29th and September 19th from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Come by and get advice on site. Within a few minutes, 500ml of blood can be taken and lives can be saved.
Around 15,000 blood donations are needed in Germany every day. The six DRK blood donation services in Germany ensure a secure supply of blood and blood products around the clock, 365 days a year. After you donate blood, we arrange the necessary tests and logistical distribution, which guarantees that you too receive blood supplies as quickly as possible in an emergency.
Around 112 million blood donations are needed worldwide each year. One blood donation can help up to three seriously ill or injured people. In addition to accident victims and patients with organ transplants, cancer patients in particular rely on blood products. Doctors have also been able to save the lives of unborn children in the womb and prevent serious injuries thanks to blood donations.
