Garbeck/Langenholthausen. The German Red Cross is asking people to donate blood. After the event has already taken place in Balve, the next event will take place on Monday, September 9th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Garbeck primary school and a week later, on September 16th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Sokola.de in Langenholthausen.
“The supply situation is particularly tight after the holiday season, so we are very happy about every donor. But we would also like to reach out to all those people who we have not yet been able to recruit as donors. We offer interested parties a detailed preliminary discussion during the appointment and once all doubts have been cleared up, it is only a small step,” says Bernd Krämer from the German Red Cross. Those who are willing to donate can also find out about the requirements for donation and how the donated blood will be used at www.drk-blutspende.de.
For all events, the DRK asks that you reserve an appointment in good time at www.blutspende.jetzt, the service number 0800 11 949 11 or the blood donation app. “You save yourself waiting times and enable us to prepare the appointment for you and provide optimal care without long waiting times,” Krämer concluded.
