There are no more excuses to donate blood. Now we can do it in the Official Network of Toyota Spain Dealers in Madrid.
Toyota Spain will launch again, this time in Madrid, its innovative blood donation action at the dealership, for which it will have the Red Cross blood collection unit and the collaboration of its staff. Thus, today and tomorrow, December 15 and 16, Tuesday and Wednesday, a large part of the Official Network of Toyota Spain Dealers in the Community of Madrid will host a donation campaign whose main objective is to help achieve the 900 daily donations that a region like Madrid needs.
Toyota Spain marks this initiative within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, from which it tries to strengthen its commitment to the integration of environmental, social and good governance aspects, putting social interests before individuals and fighting for a better society for all.
The donation campaign will be carried out in four of the concessionaires belonging to its Official Network of Concessionaires in Madrid, with the participation of a total of six facilities distributed between Madrid capital, four of them, Alcalá de Henares and Alcorcón, one in each one of these two municipalities.
The donation will be made either inside the concessionaire, wherever possible due to the size of the installation, or in a mobile unit of the Community of Madrid and the Red Cross, parked in front of the participating concessionaire. Specifically, it will be the Madrid Cars, Supra Gamboa, AE Llorente and Motor Arjona dealers from the Official Toyota Network in Madrid.
The campaign started this Tuesday, December 15 at Madrid Cars, at Avenida de la Institución Libre de Enseñanza, 45 in Madrid, with a mobile unit available in the morning, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and in the afternoon, from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in addition to Supra Gamboa, at its facilities at C / Antonia Rodríguez Sacristán, 6 in Madrid and Avenida San Martín de Valdeiglesias, 14 in Alcorcón, in both cases in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the interior of dealerships.
On Wednesday, December 16, it will be AE Llorente’s turn, at its facility at C / Bravo Murillo, 64 in Madrid, with a mobile unit providing uninterrupted service from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. That same day 16, the solidarity action will arrive at Motor Arjona, on Avenida Juan Carlos I, 20 in Alcalá de Henares, inside the facilities and in the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in addition to Supra Gamboa in C / Doctor Esquerdo, 128 in Madrid, also in the evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. but in this case with a mobile unit parked at the doors of the dealership.
The only requirements to participate in the campaign launched by Toyota Spain and the Red Cross is to be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos and be in good health. It will not be necessary to book an appointment, you just have to go to the closest participating dealer at the established time.
As in the initiative carried out in Catalonia, anyone who shows their most supportive vein and donates blood in one of the four participating dealers and six facilities of the Official Network of Toyota Dealers in Madrid will enter the draw for a kit Start Your Impossible. A total of six will be raffled, one at each dealership.
