“First of all, I want to say Trump will win the election,” he said on Tuesday as quoted by the Daily.

“What I honestly thought would be fear was that the view would be greeted with an asteroid strike to Earth,” he said.

Robertson has made a number of predictions over the years. “I have a relatively good track record”, he claims.

Meanwhile, a similar opinion was expressed by Neil deGrasse Tyson, the famous astrophysicist, saying that a small asteroid could potentially hit Earth in November, a day before the US presidential election. But this impact was not enough to cause serious damage to Earth.

Fox News quoted the astrophysicist as reporting on October 19 that the extraterrestrial rock, codenamed 2018VP1, was shooting toward Earth at a speed of 25,000 miles per hour. It is expected to hit Earth on November 2, the day before US presidential election on November 3.

Neil deGrasse Tyson has announced the results of his monitoring via his Instagram and Twitter accounts: An asteroid the size of a refrigerator with the code 2018VP1 is streaking toward Earth at a speed of more than 40,000 kilometers per hour.
